Finding Self

emansquared

As I go on this journey , this journey of self awareness

Making the effort to travel to different locations

Potentially unravelling more self-information

Of some of the things i have made  a mistake in

Of some of the bad habits that needs to be shaken

Lying in this state of reflection I stay in

More talents and gifts to be awaken

The sea of self- discovery I continue to wade in

Its the freedom of distraction that can sometimes bring clarity to the mind

The state of calm , inner peace creating the magnificent use of time

The realisation of new skills beginning to become refined

Like the succulent , fruitful taste of a fine wine

The first fruits of inspiration plucked off the grapevine

The time of harvest has begun to shine

Walking down the street taking in new sights

As my eyes take in the colours shining bright

The hidden thoughts and epiphanies coming to light

As I walk down this self revealing journey and continue to fight

To fight back the doubts and fears with all my might

Taking in the air, the sounds and smells of this new atmosphere

On this luminous journey of becoming more self - aware

The start of many adventures , the start of many memories

Discovering the history of different nations over many different centuries

The diverse world of different lifestyles, the peeling back of new ideas

The attitudes of different people, the diverse range of attires

gazing , I just step back and admire

The need to see more and experience with an intense desire

Walking for hours dazed by the sights my legs seems not to tire

The finding of self, a beautiful yet a scary journey

But out comes wonderful stories

The victorious battle of self confidence and progression

Each coming with wisdom principles and life lessons

Coming out of the situations we were previously messed in

As each days goes by we reach towards  the end

The joy of discovering Life’s hidden gems
