Secret Friend Revisited

Simple-Man87

I thought we were over with
You and I,
But your temptation beckons
I don't know why,
A calming warm consumes
Through my veins
Releasing me from myself
Leaving me with no name,
I forget who I am
With you around
Seems like an eternity
For the plunger to go down.
For a brief moment in time
My stresses, lifted
As I give thanks
To the gifted black liquid.

    S-M87,
Temptation is always tempting. It seems this temptation of yours is a good one...
ā€œA calming warm consumes Through my veinsā€!
All you can think of is of whatever has tempted you! In this situation, it seems like a good thing! I particularly like the last two lines! Writing seems to help you!

A great write! I enjoyed reading it!

    ~Laura~
