Young Provider
He makes his own sandwiches
And mows the family yard
And does all the other chores
And lives a life grown hard
It is a trying time for him
Everyone would say
He has so many responsibilities
And struggles every day
He is the one reliable
And his family’s provider in life
Although asked to be a man
He remains a child inside
He lives his life for music
With a little shop
He sells old records and CDs
And it is a regular job
He earns a check every week
And fills his father’s shoes
And they still have a family
He and his siblings too
