Cowardly Beast

Christina Lancon

Cowardly Beast

Massive in size, with fierce dark eyes

He walks through the scorching desert

Carrying his heavy metal

They are watching, he will not run.

With loving eyes and a beautiful smile, he watches her

Is she cold?

He shields her from the cool breeze

His heart true, mind fearful

Fearful of love, he runs
