I wish my life went forward

But instead my life goes backward 

I wish I could take things slow

But instead I move too fast 

I wish you understood 

But you just don’t 

I wish I could be strong 

But alas I am weak 

I wish I didn’t feel so alone 

But sadly the truth is I’ve always been alone
