this road is a long stretch
and every time i catch my breath
the road gets longer
stronger this road becomes
theres many paths that lead off the road but they might kill you
theres mines planted on the ground one wrong step
a big spark will show
every time it gets dark here it gets strange
like weird figures twisting in the distance
theres also a fog
it rolls in and pins you down on this road you cant win
theres a sign ahead that says broken heart road
350 miles the direction you came from
your destination as far away from her as possible

- Comment from author about the poem: break ups are long hard annoying roads that your forced to go down full of land mines fog you cant see thru signs paths that lead you down other roads like drinking depression and other stuff when i wrote it i was thinking of this one time my ex went insane and started pushing me into ditches and hitting me and i left her she was a jerk shes gone now so ha! but anyway chck out my youtube channel i do poetry and stuff dollar store dream is the name of it if your interested
