Sky Falling

sylviasearcher

I hear you rattling
On my roof
Cold, harsh rain
So aloof!

Heavens empty
Oceans fill
Holy waters
Awaken and still

And as the sound of the upcoming thunderstorm boomed
My heart did a one way flip
Because rain is what I thought I'll see to fall
Yet unexpectedly it was me who is falling

Falling, pouring
Heavy sound
Souls are falling
To the ground.

i see raindrops
plopping on the trees
look closer still
and... look at that:
they're licking leaves!
