Melancholy

sylviasearcher

Cloaked in invisible grey

Choked as I kneel to pray

Heavy deadly fog

Murky muddy bog

Chained though I cannot stay

Shredded though I cannot fray

Bleeding empty heart

Endless frozen start

Dear Lord

End this painful pitiful stray!

Have mercy!

Take this soul away.

Amen
