Forbidden Love

our love is unusual to most
people acts like it’s a disaster
but that shouldn’t matter
it’s about how we feel
not anyone else

we still run from each other
losing contact sometimes
always in my thoughts
without you I am lost
trapped in this maze
unsure where to go
wandering aimlessly
hoping our paths cross
but until then
the depression and anxiety
will be my company

if we never meet again
our love has seen defeat
