Boredom.

E-Poems

Some times I get so bored, my head begins to spiral.

my thoughts and feelings hit the roof, it's as if they have gone viral.

No cards to play or guests to stay, just lonely little Ole me.

Left with what feels like nothing, can boredom set me free?

twiddle my thumbs, twirl my hair and lay upon my bed.

avoid the things that need to be done, all the things I dread.

because I'm bored my tummy roars, I've convinced myself I'm hungry...

I feel bored, once a day, twice a week or maybe its just monthly.

Over exaggeration kicked in, the same second my boredom began.

To stop this overwhelming feeling, I think I'll make a plan.

first I'll get up, put on some clothes, and give my room a clean...

then I'll keep on vacuuming, until no dust is seen...

I'll go to the gym, cook my tea maybe even watch an old movie.

Write some notes, walk the dog... I've got a toilet I could unclog?

maybe If I call a friend

this irritating boredom just might end?

All the jobs are done, I'm relaxed and that's final!

but now I'm all alone again my heads about to spiral…
