- She caught my eye from the very beginning
I ran out of words my heart she was winning
- But I set my expectations low I had other things on my mind
School and family and friends who had the time
- I soon let go of the feelings I had but she reeled me back in
She began talking to me more ignoring her felt like a sin
- Does she want a friend or maybe more
All my feelings and thoughts are making my mind sore
- For I don’t pursue for she talks to others
Maybe she is just looking for a big brother
- If this is true I’m fine with that
For as long as she is happy who could be mad
- If she loves another I shall be fine
All she needs to do is show me a sign
- These feelings will fade and I’ll get over it with time
For this love might not be mine

- Comment from author about the poem: Love/not love poem....I don't know call it what you call. Long story short I like some girl at school we hang out and stuff but I don't know if she likes me back or just looking for a friend. Some of my friends at school know I like her and they annoy me about it to tel her. But i rather not make it weird between us so i stay quiet. As always feedback is welcome(about the poem)
