I knew a girl with hazel hair,
And oh how us boys did stare.
The beauty one soul could own
She felt so much like the embrace of home.
And then came an argument,
And with that, off she went,
To a new school,
And me The fool
Did cast here off so fast.
I ensure our friendship would not last.
I thought we were best friends
My fault it came to an end.
Two years later i messaged her
And yes i was drunk, for sure.
I should have left her alone. but
She still felt like the embrace of home
