Is it up within the night sky?
It must be, but then it might, for
stars can live up high, even right here.
Look at your light, look at the light that you
give and share.
You shine with a light that is truly rare.
Please don't let the love and earthly feeling that
you possess become a stranger to your soul.
Please don't lose the sparkle that I see.
What a star you are, you're everything I want to
be.

Loved this, it reminded me of the girl I am in love with. We went to see a Show together and the stage lights were reflecting so perfectly that she was lit beautifully and it revealed how I felt about her. She became a beautiful star in the night. The only light in the darkness. I didn't want her to change. That innocence and that thing which just makes her so special. That's what your poem reminded me of. Thank you
