Either Way, I Still Love You
Seems forever and a day
Your name my heart has worn
Almost as long since I’ve seen you
To bits most hearts would be torn
Many times I’ve been told
It’s just so sad
That’s ok, I understand
But I’ve never seen it as bad
If I put you
Out of my mind
Convince myself its over
Leave you far behind
Yes, life would go on
But a life without love
Is no life at all
Nothing worth speaking of
Some might walk away
A decision there to choose
My heart to you I’ve invested
Win or lose
If I had all the riches
All the gold in the world
A poor man I’d be
With no thoughts of you girl
I could never
Forget you Sharon
For if I did
My life cold and barren
And yes life’s too short
To live without love
Might I retain my dignity
Under Cupid’s stars above
And still it’s my choice
My choice to choose
For good or for worse Sharon
Either way, I still love you

AP,
A beautiful write!
Love may disappoint
but it never dies!
Ah...
if she only knew that
your heart will bear her
name till the end of time!
~Laura~

sometimes love hurts
Sometimes yes, sometimes not Ron. Fortunately for me it's been a blessing for over 50 years. Thanks for reading and your comment.
Super loving write, that love will never die.
Thanks Andy, no not ever.
