Words are insufficient to explain to you the pain
No, the words will never be enough
I wish that I could dance
For my feelings to be expressed
I wish that I could paint
For the sting to be a little less
I think the tears would do it
But you're never there to see me cry
Why is it unacceptable to us
To talk about the pain we all feel
Why can't we try and understand
Together, we could heal
But I know the words are not enough
Your gentle ears will not hear the hurting behind them
