Millennial rant

Dgrace1994

To open up makes me weak

I write it down its therapy

My heart pumps pure gasoline

To fuel the fire inside of me

Who would've thought

It'd break so easily

All these limits

All these laws

Same old gimmicks

Same old walls

No hesitation

The youth could use some inspiration

Realities boring

Its raining

Its pouring

Its storming

I'm snoring

Ignoring these habits I'm forming

Motivation, piece of mind

Commodity I can buy

Encapsulated, anticipated, appreciated

Easy to find

Swallow elation

Everything's fine

Conditioned creation

Shunned to shine

Pharmaceutical remedies

Addictive tendency's

Sickening society

Take me far away

Over this emotionless

Get me through the day

Were all different

Were all the same

Wicked temptations dictate our brain

God in the safe and Ford on the shelves

Propaganda

Casting its spell

Pleasant vices

You know me so well

Maintenance my mind

Align my perception

Give me grace

Show me direction

So simple and so essential

So much potential

To the moon and back

My mind exceeds my body

I feel trapped

Can't help but laugh

Dignity is the air I breathe

I pull it through the cracks

Confidence is prominence, I promise this

And drugs are bad

Mkay
