As he wakes up in the morning, he looks out the window and only sees dark clouds, to rollover and see his wife is not around, hoping to hear the footsteps of his kids come towards the bedroom but doesn’t get the opportunity to hear that sound, why even get out of bed only depression in his head thinking about going to the kitchen to pour a cup of alcohol he calls his “meds”, to numb the pain pouring through his body like rain trying to keep his mind from wandering to the point he goes insane but it’s the memories, he can’t forget the good but dwells on the bad, the thing that kills relationships and it’s sad to be in love with someone to the point when you felt alone they were all you had, we all have experienced this hurt once before, that person you would sit up and take a bullet for, but the problem is as people we love so hard we push people away, you might not agree but it’s the truth and I have to say we as people are afraid of being alone we don’t know how to be someone’s somebody, we just have them their just for looks so we really end up being someone’s nobody, if you are not in love with yourself don’t invite that could be special person into your home, because the love starts with yourself and sometimes that means spending time alone.

Wow! I'm laughing because your piece says exactly what your 'comments' section says but one is only ten words long.
Now usually i like to push the theory of 'less is more' but your writing here definately is the exception to that theory.
I really enjoyed your writing, a story with a lesson - a parable.
I appreciate it
