New beginnings The uncomfortable Zone

emansquared

As my feet stumble and find their way into the uncomfortable Zone

The increasing current and static of my nerves keeps my body in unfamiliar tone

The uncertainty of success and unpredictable outcome of going into things I don’t know

But deep down into my heart, I know it's necessary to grow

That it is scary in the beginning, seeing unfamiliar things unfold,

Ideas, actions, views, rules, changes, behaviours you have never seen before

My feet keep finding their balance, my body, my mind in an awkward position

My heartbeat rises, my muscles pushing hard, breathing comes shallow,

My back pressed against the wall

How can i dig deep and give more?

But sometimes Life, the purest , the fullest , comes out Raw

The fire has begun to ignite, The passion is becoming alive

The Will is tested, and it has come to fight

My hidden strength begins to come out and strive

The limits that I knew of has been broken

A Brand new Sight

I am sat there watching my body in a Third Person

Unaware and amazed of the talent that is coming to surface

These things would have not risen if I didn’t get stuck in and dig deep

These things would have not happen  if I just threw in my towel in the midst of the heat

These things things would not have happen and resulted in a much better me

These things would have not resulted in so much being achieved

These things would have not resulted in me accomplishing such a feat

These things would have not happened if I stayed  comfortable

And decided  to be balanced and  not move my feet

As I step into things that are not familiar to me

I plant a seed of learning that will one day grow into a tree

Nourished with determination, encouragement and positivity

For that first uncomfortable step starts with bravery and belief

The beginning of a journey to conquer and succeed
