Can we trust our senses?

Our eyes see forests and oceans but-

Does everyone see the same beauty?

Our ears hear music and voices but-

Does everyone hear the same meaning of the sounds?

There are some who cannot see our world-

There are some who cannot hear our world-

They see their own world-

They hear their own music-

Who is to say-

We are not the blind?

Who is to say-

We are not the deaf?

Who can possibly say-

We can trust our senses-

If they are not the same?
