Till snow all melts and dies
While weeping willow cries
I’ll stay and sleep till spring
When soaring skylarks sing
Till seasons turn once more
And sea, sunset and shore
Recall to reverie
My memories of thee
Of thee, sweet summer love
When there were gods above
And you would always wait
To meet me by the gate
Till darkness it was gone
And light it lit upon
Our souls down by the stream
Where love was all we’d dream

Blue-eyed Bolla,
Another beautiful dedication to your āfirst and only true loveā...Lorraine!
A great read! Thank you for sharing!
~Laura~
Thanks Laura. I have replied to your email and answered your question, hopefully. My daughter did a painting to go with this poem and embroidered the words with it. It was our first collaboration. (She is an artist).
