Confession Time

cutelilcardinal

I miss it.

I miss the bright lights.

I miss the blended voices.

I miss the cue lines.

I miss the late nights of practicing.

I miss the nerves before opening night.

I miss the rush of performing.

I miss acting.

I miss singing.

I miss being on stage.

I miss being in my element.

I even miss being terrified to set foot backstage.

I just miss it, and after this year, I won't be able to do anything about it.

Because doing online school means not taking choir and drama.

Doing online school means hiding behind a screen and turning in assignments electronically.

But it's a price I'm willing to pay for better grades and education.

Though, no matter what happens, I'll always miss acting and singing.

If this is an actual issue for you, must bigger towns (and lots of small ones too) have a community theater group where you would be able to act and sing again. If this is your dream, follow it.

My small town is actually working on fixing up the theater downtown and forming a community theater group. I think I'll look into it. Thank you!

You definitely should if you have a passion for it. Always follow through on your dreams. Otherwise you live with regret the rest of your life.
