Sleep time junction

• Eyes closed drunk with drowsiness yet still

I need to give my bed its fill

• I need to make a date and spend time with my dreams

I need to be drowned by imagination and its gleam

• Death but not permanent almost like a trailer

It helps me ignore all my troubles and failures

• The best greeting and the hardest goodbye

Until our next meeting I’m left out to dry

• But it is fine a have already planned my brains abduction
