On Mother’s Day
Every mother should feel loved
On this special day
With much care and fuss
That she can appreciate
Every mother should be given
A big bouquet of flowers
And be softly kissed
With love gently showered
Every mother should be cherished
And doted on and praised
And be hugged firmly
Especially today
Every mother should be thanked
For all that she does
And given permission to rest
Pampered by those she loves
Every mother should enjoy
All this day and more
With a chance to just sit back
With family galore
