I See in a Thousand Colors

MrNobody40

I see in a thousand colors
This world apart
Free from fear
Hate
I see in a thousand colors
Inside out, and upside down
The depths of my mind
As it pours onto paper
I see in a thousand colors
And in this I share with you
The secrets of my own suffering
The intricacies of the world surrounding
The world infinite
How many colors do you see?

Many people look but don’t completley see

You understand the beauty of life

Good write reminded me of inner happiness

    • MrNobody40

There is a beauty to life that is only recognized if you look at everything from every perspective. This, as well, comes with the price of knowledge, or the lack of ignorance. I wish sometimes I could be ignorant. Maybe I would be happier.

I suppose the phrase “ignorance is bliss” isn’t too far from the truth along with “rose tinted glasses” I must get me a pair!

I would rather see the thousand colours. Good and bad. To know parts of the world that others will never see. To see her in all her glory, even her violent magnificence. She is breathtaking.
