My Sun

Karoline

I am Icarus.

I fly too close,

Painfully aware

That my wings

Are singed,

& scorched,

& burning,

Yet I continue forward.

It matters not,

For you are my sun.

Short and powerful. It showcases our propensity to be drawn to something or someone even though we know it's not good for us. Well written. I really like this!
