End of day, time to play and send away my mind's decay
Every way I try to play will aim for my prime, lest be waste
Never shy from heights in my sight, never cry at my mistakes
Every try I make reminds my livelihood's at stake
I'll twice be good if I should make my errors light the way. I
nicely took a brighter look, their glare took flight astray. So
nightly, I'm inviting quite enticing thoughts to stay
Ought to be enlightening, might strike lightning in my brain.

- Comment from author about the poem: A short rhyme. As always, look for the sub-rhymes within the lines, not just at the very ends.
