Thank You My Friend

Ever since the start you showed me the light

And now I move with the hope that my friend, Maria

Would hold and guide me into the future

One in which is big and scary but Maria will be there

And here I pledge to find my light and keep those who do right by me 

closest and dearest to my heart

Loyalty and peace are two foreign topics

But Maria is the definition of a true friend

I will spit on the face of fear and swallow my darkness

My fears and insecurities will not stop me from being free
