The Second Chance

Sanjib Banerjee

A night of pretention, Gradually moving forward.. A night of urban lights.. A night of deserted city. The alone boy, Pressing his bike paddle.. The last eye-catching is Flashing upon his mind Like elf-fire.. He released a smile, as He's unable to face himself. With all voice, Thousand of questions Chasing him Like a eagre.. He stopped, The dog's sharp call Couldn't disturb him. .. This was second time. Onrushing air Was only acting a dumbshow.. He couldn't but prepared himself To go home.. The last press on paddle, His leaky slippers whistled. The second feeling of soar , He again got a pinnance-oar.
