The seesaw of life

Poetic Dan

Yesterday I thought I was at peace with it all
This morning I was tested and fell a bit short
The seesaw of life is a constantly moving one
I'll balance this all back out with self reflection and rhyme
Understanding I need time to let things transpire
Knowing the seeds that I planted are not yet ready to flower
I must wait still giving the love and devotion it all requires

    Dan,
Yes, be patient! Take all the time needed and without a doubt the seeds you have planted will flower...when they are ready! All in good time, my friend!
All good things require lots of love and devotion to come to fruition! You have plenty of that “Love and Devotion” within you!
Just be patient and you’ll eventually enjoy the rewards you so well deserve!

    Yesterday is gone...forget it!

Today will be a good day!
    ...tomorrow even better!

    Love the pic...
    “Accept yourself as you are”...
YOU ARE GREAT AS YOU ARE!

    ~Laura~

As I read your words the tears build up in me.. Thank you for helping clear the windows to my soul

        You’re very welcome!
My words may not be very poetic...but they are from my heart!

That's probably the most profound piece of yours i have ever read. There is great wisdom in there and many of us (self included) should take heed of the message you beautifully encapsulate.
Without hesitation this has to go into my favourites.

Wow. Thank you my friend, I'm so close I can feel it. I'm truly hoping that I'll take this all on board, even more so with your positive reinforcement. My soul is as greatful as your words intend

I think we all, at one time or another, reevaluate who we are. It helps us to become better people. To help others. This brings self confidence, self esteem. If we don't reevaluate ourselves than we have become complacent. You have written a beautiful, profound piece today. You have helped everyone who reads it. We can't expect to love ourselves overnight, but you should be proud of yourself. Thank you for a wonderful post.

Thank you so much, I'm sure you know but I say it anyway, I really needed to hear "we can't expect to love ourselves over night" really appreciate it. Thank you again
