Rise and Fall

R.E

Rise and fall

Swelling

Spinning

The roar of it all

Then

Loud piercing drop

Silence

Nothing But all of us

Tenseness

Nothing to hide the lack of trust

Everyone stuck in the emptiness

One second past

And

One word laughed

The current starts to play

then we all get swept away

I'm intrigued by this poem... what was on your mind when you wrote it?

I feel like it's a comment on how people behave, always avoiding silence and stillness. But I'm more curious what you think

    • R.E

it is actually about the sound of a school lunch room and how everyone will go silent for the slightest second
