Self-Love

Clarita

You may not know this, my child, but you are worth it.

Don’t look around at the noises of the masses

but at what your heart is telling you.

You are beautiful beyond worth.

You will love again the stranger who was yourself.

Give it time. Give it love.

And give yourself the chance to love again.

Don’t you miss her?

The self you once lost.

She is sassy and bitchy but kinder than most.

She is smart and fun but with a touch of bossiness.

Haven't you realize it yet?

Look in the mirror and smile at her.

It is time for the veil to come off.

Love her because no one else would as much as you will.

Because even her, will be too busy hating

All the greatest parts of herself.
