I look to the moon

For its tranquility

With the stars there too

Shining down for me

 

I know you’re there somewhere

Smiling down and loved

With friends and family

In the heavens there above

 

I long to hold your hand

And kiss you once again

And my time expand

With you my best of friends

 

My time on Earth is good

With those that remain

But I long for you

And know you feel the same

 

There will be a reunion

And we will celebrate

Our time again together

And I can barely wait
