Flow With The Rain

A. F. Naturaliy

Dying in one’s arms as I lay,

Cold, upon this forsaken day.

I hope my life is not in vain,

As you watch me flow with the rain.

What once was happy now is lost.

And as my lips begin to frost,

Pits of Hell take my soul to drain.

As you watch me flow with the rain.

As children, we both loved to run,

All came to an end with that gun.

Existence was only a bane.

As you watch me flow with the rain.

As you watch me lie here to die,

I beg you “Please, Please, don’t you cry”.

Grieve final tears though there’s none to gain.

As you watch me flow with the rain.
