- Comment from author about the poem: I have recently just got back with my girlfriend after having a short 3 week break from one another. The break was painful on my behalf as all i wanted was to be by her side. I spent the day with her today and i felt all my feelings for her come alive more. The time apart made my feelings grow stronger towards her (i already didn't think they could grow anymore :O ) I wrote this poem as a reflection of how she makes me feel. I struggle with my own self-love and my opinions of myself but when i'm with her they all disappear. She pushes me to be the best i can be, and i love her for that.
