My Furry Friend

Dallmandaisies

You do not speak, but I hear you

I can not read your mind,

But I do not fear you.

My little spirit companion, your warmth radiates,

Our bond so tight,

As big as the Grand Canion.

You look to me with love and care,

as I promise, as I will,

Cherish and cuddle every hair.

Even when I’m at work all day,

You forgive me with no doubt or delay

And then we play.

You do not speak,

My best friend but I hear you
