Rattled

M.L.C

So sickenly sweet
Hiding from what lies hidden underneath
The twists and turns
The routes we go
Pointless where it ends
No thought to give
When its known that nothing will change

Blank stares filled with dull emotion
Yet underneath still lies
The feelings buried deep inside
Oh how woe is me
Catching on to the waves as they ride
Drifting on and off the shores
How much longer till you give?
How much longer till you cry?
How much longer till you die?

Endless are the possibilities we travel
Yet dying underneath all that gravel
To take chance would certainly be risked
Much rather than being kicked
The light fades and the sun goes
With no hope following to show
As deaths shadow draws near.
