Our Soldiers
We celebrate Memorial Day
For all those that served and saved
As young men in a war
In places they’d never heard before
We talk and sometimes pretend
To know the struggles of these men
And the sacrifice that they made
Bravely, as young men far away
We must always thank our vets
As we owe them all a debt
For their service to our country
While others sat at home all comfy
We must continue to lift them up
So God’s hand they can touch
And know that they did things good
In the world where they stood
And we must always honor
Their service there over yonder
And let them know that they are loved
by family and God above
