Summer Forever

sagehos15

Welcome my dear newcomer.

Won’t you come give us a shot?

So you thought that we, summer,

would have been too hot, distraught.

We don’t live in a sandstorm,

despite what you may have thought.

But with you comes an ice storm.

We belong here, you do not.

Because this world is changing,

things are not what they now seem.

Seasons are rearranging.

We can’t fix it with a dream.

Our planet we did assault.

We must fix this, it’s our fault.
