Sadness

Mary73223

Saddness lingers
like an old friend
that you no longer talk to outstaying his welcome.
Resting in the cramped desolete corners of my mind
Waiting, wandering, watching
Arriving when you least expect
And settling in
Wishing to stay
You wish that he would stay gone
But sometimes he is better than no one.
