CathBee

I keep drowning every time I close my eyes

But I'll burn alive if I never blink

And every time I breathe in

It is neither smoke nor water but dirt

As I bury myself deeper into the ground.

The feeling that you are unable to help your self can be so overwhelming.
This is a very powerful write.

Great descriptive writing here Cath. It's a shame you felt so down when you wrote this. I often write when feeling down and/or intoxicated.

      Take care - Syd

Thank you, and I feel I can't really write when I am happy but it comes so naturally when I am upset or feeling down. I think this is the case for a lot of people.
