Goodbye

Darkdreams

You're gone, left us all alone
Sleeping for all of eternity
You've spread your wings and flown
Into a land full of harmony and serenity.

You made us smile when the world was dark.
You made me cry with happiness and joy.
Without you, earth seems bare and stark,
Now you're deaths new toy

He misses you, he'll never move on
It feels so dull and empty
Now that you're gone.

It hurts, the pain, like blood from the cut of a knife
Your leaving has drained us all of life.

  • Comment from author about the poem: This is about my aunt who passed away just over a year ago, my nan then passed away three weeks later. They were the closest family members I had. Hope this is okay and give me any feedback.
