crime of passion

blank_voice

now you lay your head to rest,

and I know you're wishing us all the best.

I've got so much to be thankful for,

so why am I left weeping on the floor?

my anxiety is taking over,

the thought of you leaving me is too much to bear

we were told to prepare ourselves for this day,

but it doesn't matter, now she is God's prey.

It isn't her time,

taking her from me, should be a crime.
