I left something just for you
You see it almost every day
In a way, concealed
Hidden, yet it is there
A secret placed with care, in time
Something just for you, from me
That you may never really see

I remember how and when
I took it from my heart
And left it there for you
Something just for you, from me
That no one else has ever seen
A living light, unspoken words
That no one knows but me

Through seasons and time
Our lives moved on
Both journeys now separate
Yet you are never alone
A part of me remains, a truth
Undiscovered, untouched, unseen
Something just for you, from me

My message remains
Time cannot erase
Still lasting and living, in its hidden place
My promise is that I never betray
The truth of what occurred that day
 I wonder if you ever knew
That I left something just for you
