I would like to be drunk enough to fall on the ground laughing, loving, and being me even if it is without you. Drunk on life, work, curiosity, people, nature, emotions and being alone yet not being lonely.

However

I would love to be sober enough to fall for you laughing, loving, and being me with you always and forever. Sober on life, kids, family, friends, love, pain, healing, dependence and loving you until tomorrow's end.

For now, I will drink the wine and smoke to the sky.

In the back of my mind and of my heart, even when my head is spinning and the walls will not stand still

A little part of me will always remember the words you said about two and a half weeks before you left

And I will always have a place here for you. If you heart ever drifts remembering me and decides it would like to come home..
