Personification

Goodman

The world has personified
around me.

The sun,
he tries so hard to illuminate
the darkest corners
of my mind.

The leaves,
they manage my faltering,
among falls so graceful
of their own.

The moon,
she weeps for my solitude,
wetting the earth
in her tides.

How pleasurable it is
to have company in this.

The world,
it personifies
me.
