Strangers

natalliaeng

We started off as strangers

then I began to gain interest

You visited my mind frequently

it was a crush at it's simplest

But this feeling

a feeling l've never felt before

made me realize that

i wanted something more

I was willing to get to know you

find out anything new

I wanted to show you

that i was worth discovering

I wanted to be close to you

Return a smile when our eyes meet

I was desperate to share so many things, like

laughs, feelings, and affection

and so much more

I knew you never felt what i felt

But i always had this small hope

but seeing you with her

made me feel like i was tied up with a rope

and even though you tricked with my mind

and left my heart sore

we have always been strangers

and nothing more
