Alone

nobody

i feel alone

No love

no happiness

no comfort

it is closing in on me

the feeling of being alone

squeezing me

twisting me

unraveling me

piece by piece

Words in my head

swirling

around and around

again and again

why won’t it stop?

i am alone

all by myself

waiting to be rescued

up in my tower of misery

i am alone

but why?

Nice, strangely simple but effective, seems to convey well

  • Lalion

Loneliness is a state of mind, in my loneliness I find solace and a freedom unabated, a union with the deeper and a joy of self.
    Nice poem, though

  • Last Shadow

Loneliness is painful at times, but there are always perks. Such as what you can do if you have free time to spare not focussing on anyone else.
