MINDSET

Sooni A. Clock

When I open my eyes all I see is blackness, dark and meek, just overwhelming sadness. The world is gray with hate and madness and nobody can remember the gladness.  You go from corner to corner just to see angst and honestly from deep down inside self-loathing and moaning about the way the world is flowing.  What nobody sees is that in order to cure the world’s madness all you have to do is try and achieve mutual gladness.  When I close my eyes I can see a world that thrives and no one needs to hide anything at all not even what’s in their eyes.  You can say what’s on your mind and not have to worry about the consequence, just let the voice inside speak don’t be meek and know that everyone understands that’s your opinion. Too often people in this world think they are entitled to control what everyone thinks when in the real-world you can barely understand that you’re even allowed to think.  Sometimes it’s crazy to imagine that the world can be more than overwhelming sadness because when you realize the little amount of work it takes to purge all the infections and complexnes of this thing that we all call chaos it makes you more depressed because at that point you now realize it’s a choice that no one uses their voice and then you have to deal with the fact that you would rather live like this than to be in a world of bliss.  But it’s okay because the less you know then I guess you’re not depressed so then your one step closer to being happy. And in reality that’s the one thing that matters.
