Colours

Shana

I used to only see black and white.
Now other colours come spice up my life.
All these colours shine like a light.
To guide to the end of my trip.

Red. Oh red.
How you invoke passion and vigour.
And make me think not usimg me head.
You make me stay determined even in the hardest of times.

Orange, such a strange colour.
No words that rhyme with it.
However, is perfect to describe a sunset.
You make me realise im not alone.

Yellow, a bright colour of innocence.
The pure colour of happiness itself.
Reminds me of buying sweets for a pence.
You make me remember the happy moments.

Green, the colour of nature.
Majestic in every way.
It reminds me of her.
You make me enjoy the little things.

Blue, a the colour that is calm.
Like a cool oceam breeze.
A colour that raises no alarm.
You remind me that I don't have to stress.

Purple, the colour of creative.
Stories and poems are made from you.
All that work makes me quite active.
You remind me that we could keep on creating.

However black and white are intertwined.
As they help me see through the blurred lines.
