The truth is that we aren't perfect, not even in our own ways. For some of us, we find beauty in the small glimpses we get of our potential to be something greater than we currently are. You don't have to be so hard on yourself, but you shouldn't be complacent either.
Also you've got some balls trying to take that title from James Blunt. ;^)
You’re right we aren’t perfect but I think that makes us “perfect” because I wouldn’t have it any other way. And I didn’t even think about that. It’s a great song!
Most of us want to be something a bit different to the thing we actually are. So thats not unusual, but so did the ladies i fell in love with! I found them near enough perfect but they wanted to change themselves. I guess its one of life's hang-ups.
